Outdoor Pools and Splash Pads near Franklin and Bellingham
The most affordable local pools are Fino ($2/person) and Casey (free) pools in Milford. Bellingham’s Little Angels Splash Pad at Silver Lake will open mid-June, with daily non-resident admission for $7/vehicle.
Seasonal clubs with outdoor pools include Bernon YMCA in Franklin, Adirondack Club in Franklin, Glen Ellen in Millis, and Kingsbury Club in Medfield. Park Terrace in Plainville may prove to be worth its next-tier cost, with slides, floating trampoline, and toddler pools.
Lake Beaches near Franklin and Bellingham
Franklin and Bellingham both have beaches that are free for residents. Bellingham’s Silver Lake now has the Little Angels Splashpad (Grand Opening June 3, 2017) with $7/vehicle admission for non-residents. Wrentham’s Sweatt Beach on Lake Pearl also has affordable day rates.
Worth Driving For
Breezy Picnic Grounds in Douglas has huge waterslides and a guarded lake beach. A little trek will also lead to some great free splash pads: Woonsocket RI, Northborough, Hudson, Braintree or Waltham/Belmont.
